Data deletion

Reply STOP to any BarberLink WhatsApp message. We stop sending you reminders and other messages right away. This does not delete your bookings.

Send us a message on WhatsApp or by email:

Include:

• the mobile number you booked with or signed up with;
• if you are a client, the name of the barber or shop you booked with (if you remember it);
• if you are a barber, your shop name or booking link.

To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm the request from the same number, for example by replying to a WhatsApp message from us.

• Clients: your name, number, email, appointments, notes and message history, with every barber you booked with on BarberLink.
• Barbers: your account, profile, photo, shop details, services, and your clients' data stored in your account. Ask us first if you want a copy of your client list.

We may keep a short record that a number asked not to be messaged, so we do not message it again, and any data the law requires us to keep.

We delete the data within 30 days of confirming your request and tell you when it is done. Copies in backups are removed when those backups are overwritten, within a further 30 days.
